an 8.2 earthquake hit the kuril islands...in japan, or off of it...

this earthquake could generate a tsunami...this was from the national weather service, but it does not appear to have HI on its' radar...although we just got a call that all hawaiian islands are under threat of this...anyway just so you all know, we live above the height of any imminent threat...what is weird is no where are they talking about it???
so maybe it is not really happening...
so here is the deal we are under watch, not warning, i just found that website from pacific tsunami warning center Noaa:

the time it would hit is jan 13 zulu time???? i don't know what z means?
anyway I found out what zulu time is:

so it is plus 9 hours...? i don't know cause that means tomorrow, i think it is minus 9 hours since they are already in jan 13...hmmm zulu time...weird.
